OC Rec Basketball Continues

OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department’s boys’ winter basketball league continued this week with a full slate of games at Northside Park. The following is a quick look at some recent league action:

– Fenwick Hardware 20- OC Rec Boosters 26: Marcus Pitts scored eight points while Cameron Gaynor and Tevin Andrews added seven each as Fenwick Hardware prevailed. Tony Floyd scored 22 of his team’s 26 points in defeat.

– OC Lions 31- Maui Golf 30: Peter Mais and Paul Silveira each scored eight points while Jacob Dukes and Ryan Bounds each added six as the Lions edged Maui Golf in a tight game. Clark Lynch led Maui with 12 points.

– Key Advisors 60- DeSilver 30: Teron Tyre scored 16 points and John Lewis added 14 as Key Advisors doubled up DeSilver. Josh King scored 17 points for DeSilver in the losing effort.

– OC Rec Boosters 29- OC Beach Music 27: Storm Miles scored eight and Jake Buchler and Matt Kleinstuber added six apiece as the Boosters edged Beach Music. Ian Fisher scored 10 points for Beach Music in the loss.

– Phillips Crab House 26- Dough Roller 17: Ryan Nally scored 10 points and Justin Meekins added five as Phillips beat the Dough Roller. Greg Ray scored eight points for the Dough Roller.

– American Legion 39- OC Rec Boosters 17: Chase Sams scored 15 points and Talib Rice pitched in 12 as the American Legion rolled. Chase Eslin scored nine for the Boosters.

– Outback Steakhouse 38- Carousel 14: Ethan Kleinstuber scored a game-high 14 points and teammate Sam Richter added 13 as the Outback rolled the Carousel. Matt Dolby scored nine points for the Carousel.
