OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department’s winter boys’ basketball league continued this week with a full slate of games at Northside Park. The following is a quick glance at some recent league action:
OC Rec Boosters 36- Outback Steakhouse 34: Sam Izzo scored 13 points and Dimir Andrews added nine as the Boosters topped Outback. Aaron Moore scored 12 points and Carmen Gaynor pitched in 10 for Outback in the losing effort.
Red Sun Apparel 46- OC Lions Club 26: Holden Wingate scored 15 points while Nick Izzo scored 12 and Patrick Ruhl added 11 as Red Sun took care of the Lions.
Atlantic General 43- Comfort Inn 43: The two teams played to a tie in the high-scoring game. Lamar Charles led AGH with a game-high 23 points, while Grady Anderson led Comfort Inn with 18 points.
OC Elks 52- OC Lions 52: In yet another game that ended in a tie, Breon Smith led the Elks with 21 points, while Dwayne Powell paced the Lions with 24 points.
Key Advisor Group 45- Dr. William Allen 41: William Howell scored 19 points and Zander Farr added 10 as Key Advisor topped Dr. Allen’s team. Ryan Nally went off for 25 points for Dr. Allen’s team in a losing effort.
