BIS Students Perform in Washington DC

Last month, 22 fourth grade students from Berlin Intermediate School traveled to Washington, D.C., to perform at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. The school received national recognition from the Kennedy Center for excellence in arts education. Students from Mrs. McCracken’s homeroom shared a song, a poem and shadow puppet play all related to the life of Harriet Tubman. Mrs. McCracken’s class is pictured during a dress rehearsal.
