Stephen Decatur High School students Meya Chilengi and Kayla Alcantar participated in the inaugural Red Shoe Shuffle 5K last month to support the Ronald McDonald House and Brooke Shockley, a local teen who is fighting cancer and a current resident at the Ronald McDonald House. Brooke’s team from the Eastern Shore surpassed everyone with the most members (145) and the most money raised ($11,000).
