Carole Jean Hagan Judge

SALISBURY — Carole Jean Hagan Judge, age 72, of Salisbury, died of natural causes surrounded by family and friends on Sept. 25, 2012.

She was born March 9, 1940, the middle of five children, to Julia and James Hagan in Boston, Mass. 
Carole was a graduate of Jeremiah E. Burke High School in 1958. She met the love of her life, Paul F. Judge, on a blind date. The two were married in Quincy, Mass. on June 18, 1960. The couple lived in Rhode Island and New Hampshire before finally settling down in Bowie, Md. where Carole raised their three daughters.

Upon Paul’s retirement, Carole and he moved to Ocean City, Md. where the two of them enjoyed over 20 years living near the shore. 
Carole was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, and her sister, Marie Johnson. She is survived by her siblings, Patricia Zink, Jim Hagan, and Ruth Fleming; her three daughters, Karen Judge, Christina Judge and Kathleen Judge Mietus; her four grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Timothy Eckard, Julia Smith, and Emily Mietus; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life was held at the Ward Museum on South Schumaker Drive in Salisbury on Sunday, Sept. 30.

Natalina Josephine Tringali Mozingo

DOVER — Natalina Josephine Tringali Mozingo of Dover passed away on Friday Sept. 28, 2012 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 88.

Mrs. Mozingo was born Nov. 25, 1923 in Baltimore to the late Luciano Tringali and Rose Carmento Tringali. She married her husband Harry in 1942.

She had worked for Baltimore Paint as a secretary before she and her husband purchased a farm in Emmitsburg, Md. and turned it into a poultry farm raising layer hens and thoroughbred race horses. After selling the family farm in the early 70’s, Mrs. Mozingo eventually moved to Ocean Pines. She loved traveling and traveled all around the world. She volunteered as a tour director for Worcester County AARP #1917 and her trips were legendary.

In addition to traveling, Mrs. Mozingo enjoyed ceramics, playing bridge, mahjong, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of TOPS and the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin. While living in Ocean Pines she was a member of St. Lukes Catholic Church in Ocean City, Md. and attended Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dover.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harry L. Mozingo in 1986, and her brothers Pietro and Peter Joseph Tringali.

She is survived by her sons, Harry B. Mozingo of Frederick, Md.; Dennis L. Mozingo and his wife Barbara of San Jose, Calif.; daughter Trudean A. Davis and her fiance Bruce Morris of Dover, Del. with whom she resided; brother, Domenic Louis Tringali of Ellicott City, Md.; sister, Helen Minnie Jaworski of Fairfield, Pa.; grandchildren, Michael and Andrew Davis, Bruce Morris II, Kelly Schloer, Jason and Justin Mozingo, Damien Ramirez and Laura Scott; eight great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild, plus a large “adopted” family who considered her mom, mom-mom and grandma.

A viewing was held from 6-8 Wednesday evening, Oct. 3, 2012 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover, with a remembrance service at 8 pm.

Additionally, a viewing was held from 6-9 Thursday evening Oct. 4, 2012 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Md. 21702.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, 8561 Biggs Ford Road, Walkersville, Md. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Lillie Taylor Andrews

BERLIN — Lillie "Nana" Taylor Andrews passed away on Sept. 24, 2012 after a short illness.

She was the daughter of Lillian amd Stanley Taylor of Havre de Grace, Md.
She was a long time resident of the Ocean City-Berlin, Md. area.

Known far and wide as "Nana", when she was younger she started the High Steppers and Bel Air Lassies Majorette Groups.

Lillie loved her job as a lifeguard and reserve police officer in Ocean City. She always had a smile and a silly story to tell.

Lillie was predeceased by both parents; a brother, Ralph; and a daughter, Mary. She is survived by a daughter, Doris Goins, and son-in-law, Jake Goins. She has seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grand daughter.

In lieu of flowers, to honor Lillie’s life and service, please send donations for the establishment of a memorial bench to be placed on the Boardwalk in Ocean City. Mary Elizabeth Jenkins

BERLIN — Mary Elizabeth (Allen) Jenkins, age 90, of Crofton, Md., formerly of New Castle, Pa., passed away the morning of Sept. 29, 2012 after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Jenkins was born Sept. 18, 1922 in New Castle. She was the daughter of Fred B. and Lena Hartman Allen. She was a graduate of New Castle High School and attended Hood College, Frederick, Md. Mrs. Jenkins worked as a manufacturer’s representative in the plumbing industry for more than 50 years. She was a member of Prince of Peace Presbyterian Church, Crofton, Md.

She was formerly married to the late William Jenkins. Surviving are two daughters, Betsy Andercyk and her husband Paul, Arnold, Md., and Jody McGraw and her husband Kevin, Ocean Pines, Md.; four grandchildren, Amy Lynn Andercyk, Beech Grove, Ind., Kathryn Sophia Andercyk Rickabaugh, Jacksonville, N.C., James Edmund “Mac” McGraw, Ocean City, Md.; and Mary Margaret Elizabeth “Maggie” McGraw, Sandusky, Ohio; two great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Andercyk and Cameron William Rickabaugh; a sister-in-law, Jean Dufford Allen, New Wilmington, Pa.; nephews Fred Allen, Butler, Pa.; and John Allen, New Wilmington, Pa.; and nieces, Mary Lou (Allen) Stimple, New Wilmington, Pa. and Susan (Allen) Jones, Brookville, Pa.
