Navy Captain To Speak At Annual Memorial Day Ceremony In Pines

BERLIN — The 11th Annual Memorial Day Committee and the Worcester County Veterans Memorial Board invite the community to recognize and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

On Monday, May 30, a ceremony will be held at the Worcester County Veterans Memorial site on Route 589 near the South Gate of Ocean Pines. The day will be celebrated with pageantry and patriotism. Music will be performed by Randy Lee Ashcraft, Frank Nanna, the WWIIunes, Todd Crosby and the Delmarva Chorus

Keynote speaker for the event will be U.S. Navy Captain Kurt A Kastner, son of Allan and Carol Kastner of Ocean Pines.
