State Police Berlin Barrack To Hold Open House For Prospective Candidates

BERLIN — The Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack on Saturday is holding an informal open house to invite prospective cadet and trooper candidates to visit the facilities and learn more about the operation.

The MSP Berlin Barrack is reaching out to potential applicants in the interest of stepping up recruitment and is holding the informational open house on Saturday to allow candidates to meet with troopers.

The informal open house is set for Saturday at the MSP Berlin Barrack on Route 50 from 3 to 6 p.m. Troopers will be on hand to answer any questions about the hiring process. The age range for eligible candidates for the cadet program is 17-20, while the age range for the trooper program is 20-58.
