The arrival of the Mako Mania tournament next week signals the start of the summer-long offshore fishing tournament season, but there has been no shortage of action inshore thus far. Pictured above, angler Dave Howard caught this nice 6-pound, 2-ounce sea bass last weekend while fishing aboard the “Angler” with Captain Chris Mizurak and mate Dean Lo. The fish was taken on the Great Eastern Reef.
