Americanism Essay Contest winners from Ocean City
Elementary School were recognized at a luncheon hosted by the American Legion
Auxiliary Unit 166 on April 17. The contest theme this year was "Why I am
Proud to be an American". The winners were Jay Scott Thompson, first

recently donated 10 ½ inches of hair to the Locks of Love organization, which
accepts hair donations and makes them into wigs to give to cancer patients and

Worcester Prep seventh-grade student David Rosenblit
recently took over duties from Dr. Barry Tull, Headmaster, for a day that
focused upon special events for students and faculty. David's parents,
Maryellen and Robbie Rosenblit, purchased the day for their son as a
contribution to the school at Worcester's annual GALA dinner and auction.

in the pores of sponges. Each day the students will observe and record any
