The Del-Mar-Va Council, Boy Scouts of America, has been awarded a $5,000 Community Needs Grant by the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore to provide support for an alumni identification and re-involvement project. Women's Council of REALTORS® presented the Ocean City Lions Club with donations to help with the drive to raise money to benefit the wounded Military Warriors in the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars over the Fourth of July Holiday. The Lions Club has raised and delivered directly to the soldiers almost $100K to help supplement these wounded men and women who arrived at the military hospitals with nothing except what they came to the hospital with.
