12/14/2007 | By News Editor, Shawn J. Soper

BERLIN- Stephen Decatur's girls' varsity basketball team got their season off to a rough start this week, falling to Washington, 34-25, last Friday before losing to visiting Mardela, 42-29, on Tuesday.

The Seahawks are now 0-2 on the year with a handful of games left before the holiday break. Decatur plays Bennett on the road tonight and returns home for a pair of games early in the week against Cambridge-South Dorchester on Monday and Pocomoke on Tuesday. Decatur closes out the early portion of the schedule next Thursday at Wicomico and will host the annual Coleman Tournament on December 27-28.
