In lieu of gifts on her third birthday, Logan Oluvic of Salisbury asked guests to bring a stuffed animal to be donated to the Robert T. Adkins, M.D. Emergency/Trauma Center at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. The stuffed animals will be used to comfort young patients during their visit. Above, Ryan Killough, Clinical Manager of the Emergency/Trauma Center, was recently presented with the stuffed animals by Oluvic.

Senior fitness expert Tom Oneto addressed the Ocean City AARP Chapter 1917 at its general meeting Thursday. Oneto presented a fitness program for seniors that AARP has formed in partnership with Gold's Gym to provide privileges for AARP members at a discounted rate. Members of the Community Church's Chi Rho youth group recently attended a youth rally at the Ocean City Convention Center sponsored by the United Methodist Church. The group listened to Christian rock bands, heard inspirational messages, and shared the experience with more than 4,200 youth from the Delmarva area.
