BERLIN- Worcester Prep's girls' varsity lacrosse team got its 2008 season off to a good start this week with a 15-6 rout of Kent County at home on Tuesday.
Molly Dickerson and Mary Alex Hudson led the Mallards with three goals each in the win, while Jackie Wangel pitched in two goals. Worcester played the Bullis School of Potomac, Md. at home yesterday in a game played too late to be included in this edition. Worcester, now 1-0 on the season, will play Wilmington Friends on the road this afternoon before taking on Salisbury School and neighborhood rival Decatur on the road next week.
