Worcester Prep second grade students from this year and last year under the direction of teachers Angie Bunting and Jennie Frostrom baked more loaves of bread than they can remember for their Kids' Bread Sale. During the sale, the students sold slices of wheat bread, white bread, cinnamon bread and raisin bread for 25 cents. Punch and spreads for the bread slices were free. The 72 students in the four classes earned $447.37 and they decided to donate it all to the Atlantic General Hospital. Receiving the gift was Michael Franklin, President and CEO of the hospital. With Franklin are, from left, Maya Zia-Shakeri, Berin; Sarah Savage, Berlin; Ross Deckmann, Rehoboth Beach; Tucker Brown, Rehoboth Beach; Davis Mears, Berlin; and Steven Bontempo, Bishopville.
