The Worcester County Commission for Women sponsored the annual McGuffey Bookworm Program on Monday, June 2. The Worcester County Commission for Women purchases book bags and books for summer reading for all Worcester County students in grades kindergarten through three. Ocean City Elementary School Recognized

Ocean City Elementary School was the first school in the state to achieve 100 percent proficiency in mathematics and reading, as measured by the 2007 Maryland School Assessment (MSA).
