Thanksgiving Golf Marathon on Tap
OCEAN PINES- Getting in the spirit of the holiday season, Ocean Pines Country Club PGA professional Sean Fischbeck will play a golf marathon tomorrow to raise funds for underprivileged families living in the community.
Fischbeck is seeking sponsors to contribute to his golf marathon fundraising efforts. The money raised will go toward purchasing all of the food necessary to provide several underprivileged families in the Pines with a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
In his past fundraising efforts, Fischbeck has played 90 holes, or the equivalent of five rounds, and expects to do the same again this year. Anyone wishing to support the effort and make a donation is asked to drop off or mail a contribution to the Ocean Pines Country Club at 100 Clubhouse Drive, Berlin, Md., 21811.
