The Optimist Youth Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization part of the Ocean City-Berlin Optimist Club, recently announced the $100,000 raffle winner picked at last month's Seaside Boat Show. The scholarship lottery campaign is kicked off each year during Sunfest and concludes at the boat show. Above, Thomas Rice, the $100,000 prizewinner, is pictured with George Balunis, Optimist Youth Foundation Lottery Coordinator. Remaining proceeds of the lottery campaign will be applied to scholarships for deserving Stephan Decatur High School graduates.
