3/20/2009 | By Shawn J. Soper, Sports Editor

OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department's annual St. Patrick's Soccer Tournament rolled through its third week last weekend with a local team winning the men's adult division.

The annual tournament's third weekend featured the men's and women's open divisions and once again the local area was well represented in the finals. In the men's finals, the Bull on the Beach team out of Ocean City won the championship, beating the Manhattan Grille team out of Baltimore, 3-2, in overtime. In the women's finals, Chrome World from Salisbury beat All Night Long out of Baltimore, 2-1, in another tight title game.

The tournament resumes today for the fourth and final weekend with the boys' and girls' under-14 and under-10 divisions. Games will be played practically around the clock all weekend beginning this afternoon and culminating with championship games in the respective divisions on Sunday.
