Seahawk Golfers on Early Roll

BERLIN- Stephen Decatur's varsity golf team swept two matches this week to remain unbeaten on the young season.

The Seahawks came out on top at match at River Run on Monday against some Bayside Conference heavyweights with a low team score of 166 easily beating is closest competitors in the match. Bennett finished second with a 191, while Parkside finished third with a 199. Jake Miller led the Seahawks with a match-low score of 39.

On Tuesday, Decatur was back at again, this time at the Bay Club, and finished with an even better result. The Seahawks won the match with a low score of  160, while Bennett and Parkside tied for second, each shooting a 176. Again, it was Miller leading the way with a 36, while Joe Iacona contributed with a 39.
