The Ocean City Fire Department (OCFD) was recently the recipient of a fire prevention grant from Factory Mutual (FM) Global for the purchase of smoke detectors. The grant, in the amount of $1,250, will fund the purchase of approximately 250 smoke alarms, which will be provided to those in need, in addition to the limited supply of carbon monoxide alarms.
