Sussex Tech High School Student Wins OC/Berlin Optimist Club Essay Contest

Andrew Bell of Seaford, Del. wrote the winning essay in the Ocean City/Berlin Optimist Club contest and the Maryland/South Delaware District of Optimist International contest. A student at Sussex Tech High School, Bell won a $2,500 college scholarship. He also won $300 at the local level. In addition to Bell, local winners were second place, Jake Emche of Worcester Prep, and third place, Michelle Wangel of Stephan Decatur High School.
