OCEAN CITY - Breast Cancer Awareness Month is the month of October and the 10th Annual Pink Ribbon 5K Run/Walk and One Mile Fun Run permit request was approved at last week's Mayor and City Council meeting. BERLIN - For the first winter in three years, there will be no major bridge maintenance projects interfering with Ocean City traffic. Commuters going to and from the resort have come to expect delay and detours over the last few years after the tourist season comes to a close. This year, traffic should continue to flow smoothly. City Seeks Bus Lawsuit Dismissal

OCEAN CITY - The town of Ocean City last week filed a motion to dismiss a $100,000 civil suit alleging negligence for an incident in July 2007 when the plaintiff stepped off a municipal bus allegedly too far from the curb and fractured her ankle.
