Merle Hall Dennison

BERLIN -- Merle Hall Dennison, 80, of Ashton, died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin.

Mrs. Dennison was born in Fayetteville, N.C. and was the daughter of the late William and Annie (Johnson) Hall.

She had been a nurse for many years and was a member of the Nurses Club with Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, Md. She was a member of St. Matthews By-The-Sea United Methodist Church in Fenwick Island, Del.

She is survived by three daughters, Sharon P. Dennison and her husband Stephen Perry of West Hartford, Conn., Carolyn D. Lovelace and her husband William of Silver Spring, and Juli A. Feissner and her husband John of Ashton; six grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin R. Dennison in 1992.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 15 at St. Matthews By-The-Sea United Methodist Church in Fenwick Island with Rev. Bruce Miller officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Coletta of Greater Washington, 1901 Independence Ave. SE, Washington, DC 20003.
