The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians recently presented two $1,000 scholarships to Susanne Marie Kelley and Taylor Michelle Tobak, 2011 graduates of Stephen Decatur High School. Bank Of Ocean City Opens Students Safe Deposit Box

In 2001, the Bank of Ocean City asked local second graders, “What will the world look like in 2011?”  The students were asked to write essays on the subject, and they were locked in a safe deposit box for 10 years.  The bank placed $1,000 in an account which collected interest of $399.61. The Kiwanis Club of Ocean City-Ocean Pines recently purchased a $100 tickets in the Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department’s House Raffle.
