BERLIN- With an eye on helping the new Stephen Decatur High School athletic field house across the goal line, a reunion of sorts open to decades of the school’s graduates has been planned for next Saturday, September 3, in Ocean City to raise funds for the facility.
A brainchild of Decatur alum Dwoin Carter, the fundraiser is set for Saturday, September 3, at the Skyline Bar and Grill atop the Fenwick Inn in north Ocean City. The event is being billed as an “Evening of R&B and Funk” and will feature live music by the Fifth Avenue Band, which includes former Decatur students and faculty members.
Much of the proceeds from the $30 admission fee, which includes live music, DJs, open bar, dancing and dinner buffet, will be donated to the new Stephen Decatur Field House. For more information, contact Carter at (410) 641-9616.
