BERLIN -- Acquest Title Services, Inc. has been named the recipient of the Affiliate of the Year 2011 by the Coastal Delmarva Chapter of the Womens Council of Realtors.
Acquest owner Gwen Cordner said she is honored to have been awarded this designation and that it is a great way to mark the 100year anniversary of her firm.
New Foundation Members
SALISBURY -- The Salisbury University Foundation, Inc. recently welcomed ten new members to its board of directors. They are Joanna Cato Abercrombie of Salisbury; Kevin Bernstein of Salisbury; Bob Brosmer of Ellicott City, Md.; Dr. Carolyn Elmore of Salisbury; Michele Garigliano of Salisbury; Richard “Rick” Holloway, Jr. of Salisbury; Dwight “Duke” Marshall, Jr. of Fruitland; Dr. Thomas Rosenthal of Laurel, Del.; Dr. Christopher Snyder of Ocean City; and Benjamin Willey of Washington, D.C.
“We are excited to have so many new individuals joining the board at this time,” said Dr. Rosemary M. Thomas, executive director of the SU Foundation and vice president of university advancement. “Many have extensive family connections to the University and all bring a wide range of interests and experiences. The infusion of their ideas and energy will provide the Foundation with excellent guidance, ultimately benefitting students and the entire campus community.”
