A leadership gift of $2,000 has been made by Bank of America to the capital campaign of a new athletic field house at Seahawk Stadium. Members of the Stephen Decatur High School women’s soccer team presented a $262 check to Rota Knott, coordinator of the Worcester County Chapter of Women Supporting Women. The team raised money at its Kick for the Cure game versus James M. Bennett in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Oct. 12.

The Ocean City-Berlin Leo Club recently installed new officers. The club is a youth-based group sponsored by the Ocean City Lions Club and is based at Stephen Decatur High School. Every year the club assists the Lions in raising awareness and funds for their many eye site programs. Also, every year the club helps fund the National Lions Leader Dog for the Blind program.
