Stockton W. Rouzie Jr.

BERLIN -- Stockton “Buck” W. Rouzie Jr., 79, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011 after his long fight with cancer.  He was born on March 16, 1932 in Ocean City.

A commercial deep sea diver by trade, Buck moved to Virginia Beach, Va. to help with the construction of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, which was the beginning of his many adventures.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth M. Peters, and grandparents Captain Thomas Moore and Drucilla Moore. He is survived by his children, Patti Rouzie of Alexandria, Va, and Colette Greer (David) of Virginia Beach, Va.; two grandchildren; a great grandson; many nieces and nephews; and his sister, Harriett Conti (Jerry) of Syracuse, N.Y.

A private family service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (www.cbf.org/gift).
