The Eastern Shore Chapter of the Executive Women's Golf Association (EWGA) held its annual Recognition Dinner at the Restaurant at Lighthouse Sound. Worcester Youth and Family collected gently used clothing and transformed the agency’s community room into the Nifty Thrifty Boutique. The one-day event allowed clients to receive clothing including winter coats, hats and gloves. The non-profit was able to help over 60 people in need, many of whom were children. The Bank of Ocean City donated $500, including $400 raised through a casual day held in October as part of breast cancer awareness month, to the Worcester County chapter of Women Supporting Women.
