OC Boys Basketball Action Continues

OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department’s boys’ winter basketball league continued this week with a full slate of games at Northside Park. The following are some of the highlights from this week’s action:

(bullet) Belair Road Supply 28- Shenanigans 20: Matt Kristick scored 18 points and Chase Hampstead added seven to lead Belair Road Supply. Blake Ludlam scored eight and Tate Shockley scored six for Shenanigans.

(bullet) Red Sun 41- OC Rec Boosters 32: Marcus Pitts scored 10 points to lead Red Sun, while Josh Mercer scored eight and Danny Hull added seven. Dallas Harrington led the Boosters with 12 points, while James Furst scored 10 and Ethan Kleinstuber chipped in eight.

(bullet) Delmarva Irish Club 14- OC-Berlin Optimists 4: Hunter Wolf led the Irish with nine points and Alexander Jett added five. Asher King and Dante Clubb each scored for the Optimists.

(bullet) AGH 32- Rox Wedding and Events 20: Tyree Henry led all scorers with 11 points for AGH, while Sonny Furst scored five and Jacob Sites had five blocks. Sean Corcoran led Rox Events with 10 points.

(bullet) OC Elks 21- OC Rec Boosters 12: Adison Browne led the Elks with eight points and Jordan Harper pitched in seven. Devin Waters and Blake Marshall each scored six in the losing effort.

(bullet) Park Place Jewelers 42- OC Parrotheads 10: Colton Edmunds led all scorers with 25 points for Park Place while Kevin Black added nine. Cole Deppe led the Parrotheads with four points.

(bullet) OC Rec Boosters IV 43- OC Rec Booster V 42: In a barnburner, Karon Purnell led the Boosters IV with 24 points. Dominic Catrino led Booster V with 16, while Avery McCormick added 13 and Tim Roberts pitched in eight.
