American Legion Donates To Perry Point VA Hospital

Four veterans from American Legion Post #166, Ocean City went this month to Perry Point VA Hospital with a pickup truck load of donated men’s clothing for the patients at the VA hospital. They also presented a $500 check to Rich Maichle, Voluntary Service Specialist for Perry Point hospital, to be used for the patients at the hospital to purchase socks, slippers and other items. The Veterans for Clothing project also collected donations to buy 900 Christmas cards, 900 stamps, along with ink pens to hand out to patients to send home to family and friends. Above, Eric Nilsson from American Legion Post 166, Ocean City, presents the $500 check to Maichle.
