OC Boys Basketball Action Continues

OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department’s Winter Boys Basketball League continued this week with a full slate of games at Northside Park. The following is a quick look at some of the action:

(bullet) Dr. William Allen 24- OC Parrothead Club 13: Mark Smith scored 12 points, while Mitchell McGee and Ian Shaner scored four each. Max Mariner led the Parrotheads with eight points.
(bullet) Belair Supply 36- Fresco’s 22: Chase Hamstead led Belair with 10 points while Mike Tropkoff added seven. Jeff Denis scored seven for Fresco’s in the losing cause.

(bullet) Atlantic Point 48- OC Rec Boosters 27: Brian Ford scored 18 points and Khaled Collick added 13 as Atlantic Point cruised. Ethan Kleinstuber led the Boosters with 12 points and Dallas Harrington added nine.

(bullet) OC Rec Boosters 34- Rox Wedding and Events 28: Garrett Tinus led the Boosters with 13 points. Sean Corcoran scored 13 and Dryen Brous added 11 for Rox in a losing effort.

(bullet) Atlantic General 36- Shenanigans 26: Tyree Henry scored 15 points and Max Mitchell added 13 as AGH prevailed over Shenanigans. Zach Ciccio led Shenanigans with eight points.

(bullet) Red Sun 40- O.C. FOP 22: Marcus Pitts led all scorers with 16 points and Danny Hull added 10. Joel Turcol led the FOP with 10 points.

(bullet) OC/Berlin Optimists 23- Fager’s Island 17: Matt Kinsey led the Optimists with seven points. Thomas Fager and Liam Hammond each scored five for Fager’s in the loss.
