BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s varsity baseball team special season continued this week with a handful of wins to improve to 11-1 on the season. The Seahawks beat Pocomoke, 28-1, and Mardela, 10-0, last week to stay on a major roll. Decatur hit the road on Tuesday and beat Crisfield, 14-5. OCEAN CITY- The pouring rain and terrible conditions did not put a damper on the inaugural Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Ocean City last weekend with nearly 3,600 competitors in the 5K run-walk and about $260,000 raised for the charity. BERLIN- Worcester Prep’s boys’ varsity lacrosse team had an up and down week this week, sandwiching wins over ESIAC rival Salisbury School around a loss to traditional Baltimore powerhouse St. Paul’s at home last Saturday. BERLIN- Worcester Prep’s girls’ varsity lacrosse team stayed on a big roll this week, sweeping three games to remain unbeaten and improve to 10-0 on the season. Offshore Powerboat Racing Returns Next Month

OC Half Marathon Set for Tomorrow

OCEAN CITY- Less than a week after 3,600 competitors descended on the resort area for last weekend’s inaugural Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Ocean City, thousands more are expected to return this weekend for the annual Ocean City Half-Maraton and 5K races.
