OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City chapter of the Surfrider Foundation will host the 12th Annual Longboard Team Challenge this weekend with a longboard competition sandwiched between other events all weekend at different venues around the resort.

OCEAN CITY- Hundreds of athletes from all over the region competed last weekend in a series of fitness events in and around the resort area culminating with the 4th Annual Assateague Assault Triathlon last Sunday.Sponsored by OC Tri-Running, the three events got started last Saturday morning with the Ocean City Boardwalk 5-Mile Run. OCEAN CITY- The Beach Lacrosse Program made a great showing at the Lax Splash tournament in Baltimore last weekend with the girls’ 11-12 team winning the championship in its division.
The Beach Lacrosse 11-12 girls swept six games to win the championship, including a 4-3 nail biter over FCA in the title game.
