Margaret Yates, President of the Board of Directors of Worcester County G.O.L.D. (Giving Others Lives Dignity), recently accepted a check from Kiwanis Club of Greater Ocean Pines-Ocean City Priority One Chair Jim Spicknall at the June 13 weekly meeting. Kiwanis donates $600 twice a year for its Priority One Program, which aids children from pre-natal to age 4 through G.O.L.D.

The Community Service Committee of the Coastal Delmarva Chapter of Women’s Council of Realtors recently presented Wayne Littleton of the Believe in Tomorrow Children’s Foundation with over 150 “buckets of love” to provide blessings to families of chronically and terminally ill children and the military. Local youth and their adult advisors who are part of the Appalachia Service Project will soon be heading to Clinton, Tenn. where they will spend a week working on homes in the area. The trip is co-sponsored by Community Church of Ocean Pines and Wilson and Zion United Methodist Churches of the Bishopville Charge.
