FENWICK ISLAND, Del. — The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce is anticipating another wonderful day at the 34th Annual Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival on Saturday, Sept. 8.
Presented by WSFS Bank, this one-day show is the area’s premier juried fine arts festival featuring over 100 fine artists.
Each year many of the artists from the show generously donate a piece of their work to be awarded to the highest bidder at the Silent Auction sponsored by Mediacom Residential Services held on the bandstand until 4 p.m. All the profits from the Silent Auction that day go to the local arts programs at the four elementary schools in the Indian River School District.
The Boardwalk Arts Festival will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring jewelry, glass, pottery, watercolor and oil painting, basketry, woodworking, and much more.
More than 100 artists, both local and from around the country, will be displaying their fine work along the bandstand and Boardwalk areas as well as the street festival areas of Parkwood Street and Garfield Parkway in downtown, sponsored by JMRE Home Property Management, NVHomes and ResortQuest Real Estate.
