OCEAN CITY -- The free family Halloween fun continues this weekend with the giant Halloween Beach Maze and a race the likes of which Ocean City has never seen before.
The “Halloween Beach Maze” kicked off last weekend and attracted more than 5,000 people on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 20-21. It returns on Oct. 27-28, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. each day.
Experience a “pleasant” scream as you meander the sands of the giant beach maze. Wicked witches, pirates of the sand, scary scarecrows, ghouls in the graveyard, zombies and more await your arrival. The beach maze is free for the whole family. Look for the entrance to the maze on the beach near North Division Street.
On Saturday, Oct. 27 at 2 p.m., rounding out the events for O.C.toberfest is “The Great Pumpkin Race” on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. This event is a wacky and zany side-by-side race featuring wild and tricked out pumpkin racecars. Join the free fun by creating your very own pumpkin racecar and enjoy a fun-spirited good ole fashion bump and bang pumpkin race. Prizes will be awarded for creativity and for the winner of the race. It’s a run what you bring pumpkin race with a few simple rules to follow.

If you’re not up for the challenge of making a pumpkin racecar, come watch all the excitement and cheer on your favorite racer! The rain date for “The Great Pumpkin Race” will be Sunday, Oct. 28 at 2 p.m.
