Worcester Prep Students Win State Writer's Contest

Worcester Prep students Dominique Kunciw and Jamie Welch, both of Ocean Pines, were named winners in the Maryland Young Writers' Contest, which was open to students in Grades 3-12 in the State of Maryland. Winners were selected to have their work appear in the May 2009 issue of Baltimore's Child magazine and to participate in the CityLit Festival. Kunciw was a winner in the high school competition and Welch in the middle school competition.
