SALISBURY -- Allegiant yesterday inaugurated nonstop flights between Salisbury and Orlando, Fla. via Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB).
The company will offer fares as low as $69.99 one way between the two cities, as well as offer travelers a fourth night free when they book their Orlando stay at Serlago Hotel and Suites or Best Western Orlando Gateway.
“We are pleased to extend the Allegiant brand of low-cost travel services to Salisbury and Delmarva Peninsula residents,” Andrew C. Levy, Allegiant Travel Company President, said. “We are confident the community will appreciate our affordable and convenient air service, as well as the value of booking hotel rooms and car rentals through us."
"On behalf of Wicomico County Executive Rick Pollitt and the Wicomico County Airport Commission, we are extremely pleased that Allegiant has begun serving the entire Delmarva Peninsula from the Salisbury-Ocean City Wicomico Regional Airport," said Robert Bryant, Airport Manager. "The Florida market is a very popular destination with our customer base, and I'm confident they will find favor with Allegiant's new service."
The new flights will operate twice weekly between Salisbury-Ocean City Wicomico Regional Airport (SBY) and Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB), carrying as many as 150 passengers on each flight.
