Maryland's 2008 American Legion Eagle Scout of the Year
Stephen Decatur High School Senior Peter Andes was awarded with Maryland's 2008 American Legion Eagle Scout of the Year Award at the American Legion's annual state convention in Ocean City on July 17. Presenting the award to Andes is Maryland's American Legion Scout Committee Chair Charles Rummel. The award is presented to a Maryland Eagle Scout who has demonstrated extraordinary citizenship in church, school, scouting, and the community.
