BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s boys’ varsity lacrosse team lost...READ MORESeahawks Finish 2nd in Conference Meet
BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s varsity cross-country teams made a strong showing in the Bayside Conference championship meet last week with both the boys and girls teams finishing second in their respective divisions.
On the boys’ side, the Seahawks finished with 89 points, second only to Kent Island, which finished with 47. Ben Rakowski was Decatur’s top finisher at 12th, while James Davidson was 13th, Christopher David was 18th, Daniel Winters was 22nd, Tristan Peeples was 24th, Kyle Kelly was 38th and Andrew Bradshaw finished 47th.
On the girls’ side, Decatur also finished second overall with 54 points, right behind Kent Island, which finished with 45. Lauren Buckman was the top Seahawk finisher at 4th, followed by Anastasia Priest (10), Ravyn Saunders (12) Lauren Bodolus (18) Jordan Klebe (19), Alexandra Tushup (24) and Layla Fowler (30).
