The Worcester County Board of Education last week recognized several scholar-athletes from the fall season during their regular meeting last Tuesday including three players from Decatur’s varsity football team. D.J. Kee (left), who last weekend committed to Lehigh University, was honored for making first-team All-Bayside Conference for two years in a row. Nick Craven (center) was also honored for being named first-team All-Bayside for the last two years, while Chase Sams (right) was recognized for being the first sophomore named first-team All-Bayside. Pictured with the student athletes are Coach Bob Knox, School Board president Bob Hulburd, Principal Lou Taylor and Superintendent Dr. Jon Andes.
