Comcast Scholarship Winner

Worcester Preparatory School student Carson Wigley was one of the seniors selected from the State of Maryland to receive a Comcast scholarship. The cable company this year awarded $106,000 in $1,000 scholarships to Maryland high school seniors for their leadership skills, academic achievement and commitment to community service. Above, Wigley, who will attend Wake Forest next fall, is congratulated by Maryland House of Delegates members Jeannie Haddaway-Riccio, left, and Adelaide C. (Addie) Eckardt.
