DAR Essay Winner At WPS
Two Worcester Preparatory School students were honored by the Maryland State Society DAR for their winning essays at an Awards Luncheon in Hunt Valley, Md. Colton Edmunds won the American History Essay Contest for Grade 5 and received a $200 award for his “Memoirs of Paul Revere.” Halie Murray-Davis, Grade 11, won the Christopher Columbus Essay Contest and received a $500 award.
