Last April, nine-year-old Sierra Hall, now a Worcester Prep fourth grader, went into cardiac arrest at the Worcester County athletic complex in Berlin during a Beach Lacrosse practice. After an arduous rehab, Hall has fully recovered.
Tomorrow morning, the Matthew Krug Foundation will donate an AED to Beach Lacrosse for future use at its fields in Berlin. The AED will be available to all of the program’s CPR and AED-certified coaches during practices and games. The donation will take place tomorrow, March 31, at the County Athletic Complex in Berlin at 8:30 a.m.
