Decatur Falls to Indian River, 36-27

BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s varsity football team fell to visiting Indian River, 36-27, last Friday to drop to a 1-1 record early in the season.

The Seahawks hung with Delaware powerhouse Indian River for most of the game before the Indians eventually wore them down. Decatur beat Washington, 41-19, in the season opener and not stands at 1-1 after two games. Next up is a tough game against Bayside North power Kent Island this evening.
