6/17/2011 | By Shawn J. Soper, Sports Editor

BERLIN- The Berlin Dolphins youth football league teams will be holding a free football camp and registration for the upcoming season next Saturday, June 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Buckingham Elementary School.

The Dolphins, who compete in the Salvation Army “Red Shield” League, are coming off one of their most successful seasons as the two teams combined for a 19-1 record and the Cadet Dolphins won their division championship. The Dolphins are now ready to plant the seeds for duplicating the remarkable 2010 campaigns with a free football camp and registration for the upcoming season next Saturday.

The football camp gets underway next Saturday at 10 a.m. at Buckingham Elementary and will include offense and defense positional instruction, agility and speed drills and player evaluations. The camp is open to players ages 6-13. For more information, contact Cadet Coach Ron Bireley at (410) 641-0948.
