BERLIN- The Worcester County Sheriff's Office's 14th annual golf tournament for the benefit of local needy children through the department's 'Joy of the Christmas Season' program is set for Friday, July 11, at the Rum Pointe Seaside Golf Links.
The cost is $100 per person or $400 per team, which can be considered a charitable tax deduction. The entry fee includes golf, carts, range balls and a gift for each participant. The event will begin with a buffet lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. including sandwiches, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, with the tournament set for a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m.
