Showell Kindergarteners Illustrate Model Student Behavior

12/18/2009 | By The Dispatch Staff

Showell Elementary kindergarteners Michael Romano and Zachary Powers illustrate what a model student does when he has the answer to the teacher's question. Students practice model behavior and following school rules to insure that everyone has a chance to learn in a safe and respectful environment. Students at Showell are sent to the principal's office when they are caught doing something right. This "positive office referral" promotes the idea that the principal's office is a place where caring people take the time to notice when students make good choices.
