After conferring with Worcester County State's Attorney Joel Todd, resort police was charged Freeman with first-degree murder, second- degree murder, and manslaughter. The case is expected to be referred to the Grand Jury for a formal indictment.
Freeman lives at her residence with a boyfriend and her four other children. This investigation is in its early stages and able to provide more information will be available later today. Freeman is expected to be released from the hospital later today and remain in police custody pending an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.
